This guide is to help you learn how to use the SBA's calendar and the ins and outs of our aging system. We hope that by the end of this you understand it all but if you still have question or you feel we have left something out feel free to PM one of us to ask.
The SBA uses a unique calendar system, rather then suggesting that different animals are aged at different rates we simply suggest to be as realistic, with your aging, all creatures big and small, human and animal, young and old are aged the same, they just simply have different lifespans.
No one here expects a Great Dane to out live a Chihuahua, with 7 to 10 years being their RL (real life) average with Vet care, and the Chihuahua's being 15+, so a dog from reach breed born on the same day will retire and eventually pass on at different times, this is the realistic way to do things.
The SBA's Calendar is set up as shown below, Each Sim's year is 96 real life (RL) days, with each being separated into 4 seasons and 12 months, each season last a total of 3 months and each month is 8 RL days. Each month is a different color.
Each Year is identified in the top cell, then the seasons with winter being separated into 2 columns with the first 2 months of the year being winter and the last month of the year being winter as well. This is because the calendar was created to mimic the calendar seasons for North America.
